Nicknames: Bella to close family, and whatever nicknames Rodolphus might have. No one is allowed to call her Trixie and those who make the mistake of doing so end up hexed to within inches of their lives.

Family Dynamic: Rodolphus Lestrange:

Most view their relationship as unconventional and off beat and wonder how in the world Rodolphus could have married a girl like Bella, but secretly Bella adores her husband. He pushes her in ways that no one else will or does and challenges her like no others can or do. Outwardly though their marriage appears to be just like all other pureblood marriages, but she has made it known to him that that is not the case. While she could have married anyone else, Bella did not want anyone else. She likes the challenge and the difficulty that comes from their marriage given the types of people they are and the strong personalities they both posses. Many times their head strong personalities will lead to some spectacular fights that will leave one or the both of worked up and in some instances bleeding but it doesn’t matter. It is simply who they. They wouldn’t be as compatible as they are if they didn’t fight and Bella wouldn’t change the way their relationship worked for anything. Bella doesn’t bother to correct people when they say she doesn’t love her husband that it is simply a marriage of convenience because her parents forced her to marry and that the one she truly loves in the Dark Lord. In her eyes if everyone thinks it’s the Dark Lord she loves then it means Rodolphus is just that much safer and she need not worry or look out for him as much as she does others. Besides….who’s to say that the rumors about her feelings for the Dark Lord aren’t true? The only one who knows the truth to that rumor is Bella and she’ll never tell.

Parents: Cygnus and Druella Black

Bella is a daddy's girl through and through. In her mind her father can do no wrong and is placed on a pedestal above all others save her Lord. Her father was the one whom when she ran from the lessons her mother tried to force upon her, let her hole up in his library with him and eventually began to teach her everything she needed or wanted to know. And while she adored her father, Bella did not adore her mother so much. Yes she respected her simply because the woman gave birth to her but beyond that her mothers opinion meant almost nothing to her. Even after marrying a proper pureblood, and a high standing one at that, her mother was still disappointed in her so Bella ignores her for the most part. The less contact she had with her mother the better off all parties involved are.

Sisters: Narcissa Malfoy and Andromeda Tonks (disowned)

Bella adores her youngest sister. Narcissa is everything she isn't. She is the light where Bella is the darkness. She is the proper pureblooded girl their parents deserved to have where Bella is the heir in a female disguise. All of the areas where her sister excels are ones that bore Bella, but that does not stop her from loving her sister any less. Incredibly protective of her sister, Bella would murder anyone who dared to harm her or even so much as make her shed a single tear. It is for her sister and the prospect of a better world that she fights like she does. After all while her sister works to make their world prettier by her balls and parties Bella works to make it better in the shadows and the darkness

Her middle sister though is a rather large disappointment to Bella. She saw Andromeda as a mini me doll, a way for her to pass on everything she knew to her sister, someone who was supposed to be her best friend and protégé in a way. And at first she was. Her sister was her best friend growing up and remained so until she went to Hogwarts. As Bella watched her sister grow and develop and change at Hogwarts the changes she saw were not ones that she liked. And while she tried to help her sister remain on the path that she was supposed to she was let down more and more until the day came when her sister finally announced that she was in love with a Mudblood. It was personal blow to Bella. She felt as though she had personally failed her sister and let her down. It was her responsibility as the oldest and the heir so to speak to guide her sisters and help them along in life and rather then remain the pureblood that she was supposed to be, Andromeda turned into a blood traitor. Bella cut her out of her life immediately after that. Refusing to think of her sister, or speak about her sister. The name Andromeda is a forbidden word around her and she has even gone so far as to hex someone for mentioning the girl in Bella's presence. As far as she is concerned, she only has one sister, Narcissa. Andromeda is as good as dead in her eyes and nothing will ever change that opinion.

Cousins: Sirius Black (disowned) and Regulus Black.

Much like Andromeda, Sirius is dead to Bella. After defecting from the family and choosing filthy Mudbloods and those who accept them and would do so far as to mate with them and pollute their world with them, she has no use for him. Unlike Andromeda though whom she ignores and is quite content on pretending is dead, Sirius can and still does get a rise out of her. She isn’t sure if its because the two of them were supposed to be much closer than they are given the similar positions they were in with him being the Heir and she being the oldest but whatever it is Bella can not seem to ignore Sirius and if provoked by him her temper will snap instantly and she will fight back. She is well aware of the fact that associating with blood traitors is frowned upon but Sirius is not someone she can ignore and fears that he is someone she will never be able to ignore.

Regulus on the other hand is like the little brother she had never had. With the fate of the family now resting upon him as the heir Bella has taken to looking after him. She makes sure he is staying on the path he is supposed to and that he does not deter from it and follow in Sirius’ footsteps. Two blood traitors is two too many in her opinion and she refuses to see Regulus go the same way. Besides who better to train him and look after him than she?

Brother-in-laws: Rabastan Lestrange and Lucius Malfoy

Bella gets along with Rabastan for the most part, making the effort to do so because he is Rodolphus' brother. There are times though where the two of them butt heads rather spectacularly and the fights that result are not something that should be missed, but those are rare and far between. And while she would not die for her brother-in-law she pities the person who dares to ever hurt him, for if Rodolphus does not destroy them, Bella will.

Lucius on the other hand, she can not stand. He is conceited, stuck up, and has a holier then thou attitude that Bella feels needs to be knocked around for a bit. She tolerates him only when necessary and that usually means when in the presence of their Lord or when around her sister. Other than that he receives the cold shoulder or a rather icy and snide comment from her.

.Character Details.
Personality: For the most part Bella comes across as being cold and unfeeling, a true Slytherin who never shows what she’s thinking or feeling. She perfected the masks of indifference and coldness to a fine t when she was younger and the only thing time has done for them has made them harder to break through. She does not let people get close to her nor does she let them know the real her.
But if you are her family, or her husband then you know that looks can be deceiving. Bella is very passionate in everything she does. From loving her family, her husband, and serving the Dark Lord her opinion is either do it all the way or don’t do it all. She has a very dry sense of humor of which only few have actually seen. And pain does bring her pleasure. There is something about another person screaming and begging and the thought that you made them do so is something she takes great pride in. But it is not the only person she is. She does have a heart, as her husband has learned from time to time she shows affection. But it’s rare. She is not the overly romantic type to go on and on for hours on end about what she is passionate about, unless its politics and the state of their world. If you ask her about the Muggles and Mud bloods be prepared to be there for a while for she will tell you just what she thinks and not pull any punches.

While Bella is not completely sane is not crazy either. She has her moments where it may seem like she is but it comes from her family. All of them have a bit of unstableness in them and it adds to the quirks and flaws that make her up. Not that she’ll admit she has any flaws but she does. Like her need for pain on occasion or from time to time to know that she is loved and wanted. It’s the little rare insecurities that make her a puzzle to most and the rare insecurities that make her so hard to understand.

She has a temper though…when it chooses to show its ugly head. While for the most part she is calm when she is angered it is a sight to behold and those around her should worry for their safety. For when she is angered she is blind to most things, including the well being of those around her. But that is the way it is with all of her emotions, whether it be happiness, sadness. Joy, pleasure, or hurt, anger, and pain. Whatever she is feeling she feels it with everything that she is and nothing anyone has done or tried to do her has changed that. Nor does she wish for it to change. Again it’s either all or nothing. And when it’s her emotions in question the same applies.

Strengths: Strengths Magically: The Dark Arts are her specialty. They came easily and quickly for her when she was younger. It didn’t matter to her that the rest of the world found them to be forbidden and taboo, Bella was drawn to them and what they could. And she excelled in them greatly. By the age of nine she had all the Unforgiveables mastered and had moved onto the more obscure, darker sections of the Dark Arts. She also excels in Charms and Transfiguration. Both of which again come easily for her.

Strengths Mentally: Bella has perfected the art of wearing masks and showing the public only what she wants them to see. What she wants them to know about her. She either be the cruelest person you have ever seen in your entire with a cold outer shell that not even the strongest person could break or she could be the happiest, most gentle person you have ever seen. But that side of her is saved for one person and one person alone and then that is only on a rare occasion that she ever lets her guard down completely so that they can see the person who lies beneath the darkness that most think consume her.

Weaknesses: Weaknesses Magically: Potions. She is utter crap at potions. Most likely because she doesn’t have the patience to stand there and wait for a cauldron to bubble, or for her potion to turn a certain colour or smell a particular way. She thinks that in the time it takes to make a potion you could master another spell, learn a new way to defend yourself or discover a part of the Dark Arts you never knew before. In others words, Potions is a useless branch of magic to her.

Weaknesses Mentally: Bella's pride is her greatest weakness. It blinds her so completely that she can't see anything beyond it. Her pride for her family, her lover, her friends, and her blood line is who she is and she holds it close. But in that pride comes a blindness so thick that one day it will choke her for she is unable to see truly what it is doing to her. Her pride is the easiest thing to use against her. And while most have not figured that out there are a couple people who know that the fastest way to set her off is to attack her pride.

Personal History: Bella was born in the middle of September in 1951 to Cygnus and Druella Black. She hopes that she wasn’t a great disappointment to her parents, who she knows were hoping for a boy so as to have a proper heir but if she was her parents never let on otherwise. As a Black and pureblood she was pretty much spoiled as a child. The best of everything money could buy. Clothes, toys, tutors, and even in some cases friends. But the true test for Bella came when her mother decided it was time to start teaching her daughters how to be proper and correct pureblood girls. Bella wanted no part of it. Even at such an early age as seven she could never picture herself being the perfect stay at home wife and mother. She could never envision herself throwing parties and balls or having tea parties or dressing up in all of the frills and lace she had seen so many of the other pureblood mothers wearing and forcing their daughters into. The idea of doing such a thing made her shudder. She did everything in her power to make sure her mother and everyone around her knew she was miserable and that having proper girl lessons as she called them was the last thing she wanted to do.

Eventually her father started taking pity on her and when she would hide from her mother and her endless lessons and parades he started teaching her the things that grew to matter to her greatly. Politics, the Dark Arts and what it truly means to be a pureblood and a Black. While she respects her mother as any daughter should she truly loves her father and the time they spent together while she was a child is something that will always stand out in her mind.

It was when she finally received her Hogwarts letter that she felt she had done something right in her mother’s eyes. Even though she threw herself into the music lessons her mother forced her to take, (She would never admit out loud that she loved playing the piano and therefore had her mother believe she hated it simply because she could) and the language lessons that introduced her to her love of all things Russian and Italian it was the look on her mothers face when it was announced that Bella was going to Hogwarts that she covets. Even if it was soon dashed by the announcement that she would be having a going away party.

Bella was miserable the entire night but the thought of what lie ahead the next day kept her under bearable control and management the entire night. Something everyone in attendance at her party should be thankful for.

Upon entering Hogwarts she was sorted into Slytherin like every Black before her. She has served her family well, excelling at being the perfect Slytherin and the proper pureblood girl. She did well in her studies, Transfiguration, Defense against the Dark Arts and Charms being her best subjects. Arithmancy and Ancient Ruins followed close behind those and all other subjects she ignored and dismissed as being useless and unwanted or needed. She would have excelled in the Dark Arts, only Hogwarts didn’t offer them, Dumbledore thought them to be a bad sort of Magic. To Bella though magic is magic, even is she does have a strong liking and preference for the Dark Arts.

She kept to a small group of friends, mainly those she had grown up familiar with or those who had the same views and opinions as herself. She was not shy while at Hogwarts about her hatred for Mudbloods and Muggles and made it known on a regular basis that she despised having to share her world and her heritage with such filth. It was those actions alone that got her passed over as prefect in her fifth year but it didn’t matter to Bella. She didn’t need some shiny little badge telling her what she could do and when. She did it any how, much to the disliking of a great deal of the professors who would find her out and about wondering late at night when her insomnia would strike at its worse.

But when not making trouble you would find her in one of two places. The Slytherin common room where she would most likely be curled up in the chair closest to the fire place with her nose buried in a book or in the library with her nose buried in a book. Bella has a great love for reading all things magical and the Library at Hogwarts, although lacking in the Dark Arts text that her father’s library held, still fed her intense desire to know everything she could about practical magic. It was that thirst and that need that allowed her to excel easily in her studies and placed her almost at the top of her class.

Since graduating from Hogwarts Bella has married Rodolphus Lestrange and joined the ranks of the Dark Lords followers other wise known as Death Eaters. She wears her mark proudly and without any hesitation and covets her spot as a member of the Dark Lords ranks with great pride. There is nothing and no one who can stop her from achieving what she wants and that is the coveted spot of her Lord's most favourite. She had served him faithfully and loyally since taking his mark upon her arm and there is not a person more loyal or more willing to prove themselves to him than she. There is not a mission she has been presented with yet that she has failed at and she does not ever intend on failing him either. And while her loyalties to her Lord have made other things in her life harder...such as having the heir that both her mother and her mother-in-law are pushing for and demanding to have, Bella does not care. She has more important things to focus on right now and she can not do that if she is with child. Perhaps, maybe, at some point she will have a child but she suggests not holding your breath as her duties to her Lord are her most important priority at the moment.

Physical: Bella has a very commanding presence. From her long black hair to her silver blue eyes everything about Bella demands that people pay attention her. Most underestimate her though due to her small frame. She stands at just a bit over 5'7 and weighs about 135lbs.

Her years of training to be a proper lady with her mother have rubbed off on her. She carries herself in a manner very befitting of a person of her stature and demands that when she walks down a street or enters a room that everyone look at her and automatically know who she is. While she may carry herself like a lady....she does not dress as so. She shies away from the traditional skirts and dresses that most pureblood women wear, instead opting for tight fitting pants and shirts that show of her figure just as much and as well as a dress would. After all one can not properly duel in a dress. And being a Death Eater it is required that you be able to duel and move around.
